New commercial estate in Hall/Tyrol

Following the connection of a new commercial estate at the Hall-West exit of the A 12 motorway, the Hall Department of Municipal Works found that it would have to provide the necessary infrastructure to link up to the Hall supply system. During the course of this project, the work was co-ordinated so that both the new fresh water pipe and the waste water pipe could be laid together in one trench.

Since the course of the pipe lies directly along/under the busy Innsbruck motorway – i.e. directly along the works premises of TRM – the pipe material had to be selected with great care.

The only suitable material proved to be TRM ductile cast iron pipe, which can withstand the continual vibrations caused by the heavy traffic without any problems.

Both pipes were laid in a short construction time of only a few weeks.
