WKG pipes
Heat-insulated compensating pipes of ductile cast iron for fresh water supply and waste water disposal for pipes subject to the risk of frost with heat-insulation (WKG)
By means of the CFC-free polyurethane (PUR) hard foam heat insulation, fresh water and waste water pipes and corresponding sleeve bends, e.g. for bridge pipes, above-ground pipes or underground pipes with low overhead coverage can be protected against cold and frost.
At temperatures significantly below freezing point, the water or waste water can also stagnate over longer periods without freezing.
For exposed pipes, the PUR hard foam is protected against the effects of weather by a wound jacket pipe of galvanized steel plate, or optionally, stainless steel.
Underground pipes are provided with a jacket pipe of polyethylene.
The well-known socket connections are of course also available for WKG pipes.
