Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler waterworks

DN 400 transport pipe with a total of 12,000 m of ductile cast iron pipe to DIN EN 545 for the waterworks of the town of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler.

Within 10 months, a 12 km long DN 400 transport pipe of ductile cast iron with cement mortar lining was laid from the “Wachtberg” water tower of the “Wahnbachtalsperrenverband Siegburg” to the “Tritschkopf” water tower of the water supply system of the town of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler.

The topography of the course shows significant height differences in places. The “Wachtberg” water tower lies with an average water level at 256 m ASL.
The “Tritschkopf” water tower, into which the water is fed lies at a height of 158 m ASL.
