Pressurised and non-pressurised waste water pipes
Ductile cast iron pipes for pressurised and non-pressurised waste water pipes to DIN EN 598 are optionally available with the TYTON® socket or with the BLS® and BRS® restrained positive-locking connections. Every connection in itself offers perfect technology and high safety reserves.
The pipes can withstand high stresses, so that low coverage depths (e.g. 0.3 m) with SLW 60 traffic loads or high coverage depths (e.g. 10 m dam conditions) are no problem.
The cement mortar lining (ZMA) of ductile waste water pipes on the basis of alumina cement is also resistant against highly aggressive waste water.
Due to the integrity of the connections, the high strength of the pipe material, the diffusion integrity of the pipe wall and the durability of the inner lining and outer coating, ductile waste water pipes are approved by the authorities as single-pipe systems in fresh water protection zones II and III.
