The Cast iron pipe systems division is today one of the major European manufacturers of sleeved pipes of ductile cast iron for the supply of fresh water and disposal of waste water.
Cast iron pipe technology from Duktus stands for maximum quality, ultra-modern production, flexibility and responsibility. The responsibility begins with engineering consultation for the project management, and continues on through production to management of the construction site, where the pipes are used.
This is backed up by a team of qualified specialists, who with their ideas, their skill in handling the materials and their knowledge in the field of pipework construction take over the responsibility for their products – the pipes and their connections.
Duktus Tiroler Rohrsysteme GmbH
Duktus Tiroler Rohrsysteme GmbH was founded as Tiroler Röhren- und Metallwerke AG in Hall in Tirol in 1947 and is today a leading company in the production and processing of ductile cast iron in Europe.
Every year, iron which is of no further use is recycled to produce close on 30,000 tonnes of high grade cast iron pipes for a wide variety of purposes. Production is by a centrifugal casting process to strict quality criteria (we are ISO 9001 certified).
Our product range includes ductile iron pipes for drinking water, wastewater and sewage systems and for supply pipelines for snow-making systems, and ductile iron driven piles for foundations and specialised underground engineering work.
We have approximately 200 employees on this site and achieve an annual turnover of around 60 million Euros.

Duktus S.A. is a limited company incorporated under the laws of Luxembourg. Its operational base is in Hall, Tyrol (Austria). It is the parent company of the cast iron pipe business of the former Buderus Guss Group.
